Sunday Worship Schedule

August - Lakewood - 9:30 a.m.

We will be holding a Service of Worship for the Blessing of Animals at the Lakewood location on Sunday, August 16 at 9:30 a.m.

Church members and the community are invited to bring their pets to this outdoor service which will feature scripture readings, hymns, and special prayers thanking God for the gift of animals. Please make sure your pets are on a leash or otherwise restrained. If your pet doesn’t do well at social events, you are welcome to bring a picture of your animal to share with us. We will also include prayers for those who have lost their pets and encourage them to bring pictures of them as well. The service will be followed by a potluck lunch, so please bring a dish to pass. Hamburgers and brats will be provided. We also ask that you bring your own lawn chairs. Donations for the Forest County Humane Society will be taken as well. Please join us for this opportunity to celebrate the love and joy that our animals bring to our families and our lives.
